School of the Month

Our School of the Month is a specially selected school which could benefit from earning more School Link vouchers to put to good use in their classrooms and library. Customers shopping with us online can choose to donate to our School of the Month if they don’t have children at school or a local school to support and would like to see someone benefit from their orders.

Our current School of the Month is:

"I would like to nominate Swinton Fitzwilliam Primary School as the School of the Month."

"My children (9 years and 8 years old) both attend and both love school; the teachers put their all into everything they do, making learning fun and exciting, so much so that when my son comes home I have to allow time in my schedule to listen to his endless 'Did you know' information!

They are both kept busy with after school clubs, all run voluntarily by the teachers, which this year alone have included gardening club, science club, dance club, gymnastics club, choir, football club to mention a few!

All this has been despite an incredibly fraught year of adapting to the changes caused when the separate infants and junior schools of last year were amalgamated into one Primary school with a new Head teacher, lots of building work and several staff changes last September. As a result, we have to find the funds for numerous resulting changes in the building, staffing etc, but are determined not to neglect the libraries which were in dire need of restocking and updating before these changes were forced upon us.

I would love it if you could give the school a boost by making it the school of the month; in my eyes it has been a deserving candidate for the title itself for a long time and for you to acknowledge it as such would not only be a moral booster, but a library improvement too!
